How to Open The GE KeySafe™

  1. Before attempting to set the code, press the CLEAR button.
  2. The GE KeySafe™ is now ready for you to enter the code. When entering the code it is important that each button that is actually pressed clicks !
  3. Once the code has been successfully entered, to remove the lid simply press the OPEN button down and remove the lid.
  4. If for any reason the OPEN button will not move down as you press it please check Steps 1,2 and 3 and try again.

How to Close The GE KeySafe™

  1. With the lid in your hand repeat Steps 1, 2 as above.
  2. Once the code has been successfully entered offer the bottom of the lid to the vault, ensuring the key is not obstructing the lid in any way.
  3. Once the bottom of the lid is correctly located into the bottom of the vault simply press and hold the OPEN button down and push the lid into the vault.
  4. Once you are happy the lid is flush with the vault release the OPEN button and it will return to its highest position. All you need to do now is remember to replace the cover.
